Mm. I remember saying since before III was released that the reason TOAW has so much value is the huge amount of work put in by amateur designers, and that any changes must be backwards compatible with existing scenarios.

This seems to have been ignored more and more.

One wonders just how much work it really would be to reinsert that counter sheet.

My understanding is that the whole graphics engine has been rebuilt to use a different file format. So you'd have to either do a further redesign or revert to the previous UI (fine by me).
